During the Savior’s mortal ministry, he emphasized the importance of serving others. He also taught that when we serve others, we serve God! How cool is that?! We can show our love to God by serving those around. I don’t necessarily have some life-altering experience with service, but truly believe it is all about the little things. A card or text at just the right time, the smile from a stranger, or the compliment from someone can make the biggest difference after all. By small and simple things are great things brought to pass! I believe service is the one of the best ways for us to see other as Christ does, but also to feel God’s love. Please look for the little ways around you! After all, you never know how far a smile will take you! 🙂
